Today's release marks the next step in our continual cadence of Icenium product and service updates. As a cloud-based service, updates to Icenium are done without customer disruption and we are quite pleased with how the process is working. This v1.2 release includes many improvements, some fixes, and of course, some exciting new features.

New Cordova plugins supported
Based on the feedback received through our Feedback Portal, two new Apache Cordova plugins are now supported. Now along with the existing ChildBrowser plugin, the Barcode Scanner and SQLite plugins are supported. To go along with these latest additions, two new sample projects illustrating the use of each the Barcode Scanner and SQLite plugins have been added to GitHub.

Android splashscreen support
Apache Cordova added the ability have splashscreens in Android applications and Icenium quickly followed suit. The Android splashscreen images can now be easily added within the Project Properties.
